Big jockey wheels keep on rollin'
The 13 tooth jockey wheels arrived. Its surprising how big they seem compared to the normal 11 toothers on shimano mechs. I am not at all convinced i will notice any difference, but the theory is that a bigger wheel forces the chain through less-tight bends and is thus more efficient. It may be a little more noticeable in mud as well. We'll see...

You can fit more bullshit 'round

you could have got a cheap one offf the lower end Shimano mechs. A fool and his money ect ect.
One of the things I've liked about going singlespeed is that I no longer make frankenmechs. In my case it was an Ultegra 600 road mech with an XT short cages (slightly longer) for an early 2x8 setup.
