5 arm cranks are better in my opinion: don't know why.

So, John was using Ultegra cranks with his (ulp) 39:16 fixed at the Strathpuffer.

Why can't I use the compact version which takes a 34 tooth ring?

Anyone?

    Don't see why you shouldn't be able to use them :)

    (they do look silly though)
