So liberating to go for a ride without ANYTHING, no water, no wallet, no keys, no food, no spares, tools or cares. Muy bueno, senor.<BR/><BR/>Went immediately afterwards, and by way of stark contrast, to glentress after for a shakedown of The Rig. Needs a longer stem, and I did notice a lack of plushness from the shorter travel forks, although they are straight out the box... All I can say is that I am pretty impressed - seems to respond well to being thrown around and copes well enough with the rockfck that most of the Black route has become. Would also like to say that I did not drop my chain once - singlespeeds sans tensioners are soo good... Climbs like a demon, too despite short cranks and my crampy arms...<BR/><BR/>I note with interest that I am riding the singlespeed sub-class at ssmm, I guess I won't get away with putting the Rohloff on for it then...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
